Missing Baby

Do you think the parents are hiding the truth?

The parents of a missing Missouri toddler have stopped cooperating with police efforts to find their child.

Deborah Bradley and Jeremy Irwin of Kansas City have not publicly disclosed the reason for their recalcitrance with police who are searching for their missing 10-month-old, Lisa Irwin.

?The mother and father no longer want to talk to detectives,? Kansas City police Capt. Steve Young said Thursday, adding the parents are not considered suspects, according to ABC News.

?From an investigative standpoint, we enjoyed their cooperation so far,? Young said. ?has been very beneficial to the case. But yeah, you can imagine it doesn?t help the case? that they are no longer helping police.

The blue-eyed babe was thought to be snatched from her crib sometime Monday night, or early Tuesday morning.

Bradley had put Lisa to bed in her crib around 10:30 p.m. after reportedly changing her and putting her in fresh clothes.

Irwin then arrived home to an odd scene around 4 a.m. from his job as a local electrician.

?The windows were open and lights were on and she was nowhere to be found,? Irwin said of his daughter on ABC?s ?Good Morning America.? ?We?ve been going over everything in our minds. We just don?t have any idea.?

Irwin has also said that the front door to the family home was unlocked.

On Thursday, Bradley and Irwin revealed that three cell phones were also taken from the family home in addition to the baby daughter that they lovingly refer to as, ?Pumpkin Pie,? ABC reports.

?We were running around the house and were screaming for and she was nowhere,? Bradley said. ?Then I said, ?Call 911, call 911.? But Jeremy couldn?t find the cell phones. They were gone.?

Two other children that Bradley and Irwin have from previous relationships were not taken, ABC reports.

?Please. She has a family who loves her very much,? Bradley cried out while on GMA.

?Take her somewhere safe. Take her to a church, a hospital, a fire department. Just drop her off with somebody and then leave, no questions asked. We just want our baby back.?

Meanwhile, Young remarked on Thursday, ?The investigation is directed and led by hard information. Again, we don?t have any suspects. If we had enough to charge anybody with, we probably would be issuing charges.?
